Hillrein – Master the Wild, Without the Smoke
Every great journey begins with a spark.
For centuries, fire has been the heart of the wilderness — cooking our meals, warming our hands, and gathering our people. But traditional wood fires come with a cost: choking smoke, dirty pots, and a trail of frustration.
We founded Hillrein (驭山) to change that.
The name “Hillrein” means to conquer the mountain and tame the wild — not by force, but by mastery. We believe that true outdoor freedom comes when you can build a clean, powerful fire without breathing smoke or fighting with damp wood.
The Pursuit of Smoke‑Free Fire
For 16 years, we have done one thing: build the best wood‑burning stoves on earth.
Our factory spans over 6,000 square meters, dedicated entirely to gasification stoves that burn wood so completely that smoke is barely visible. We don’t use cheap materials or shortcuts. Every Hillrein stove is crafted from full stainless steel — mostly 304 and 310S — because we know that a failed stove in the backcountry is not an option.
We started with a simple goal: let anyone — from a backyard cook to a backcountry biker — enjoy a roaring, clean fire with no smoke in their eyes.
Better, Never Perfect
Yes, our stoves are already among the best. They rank top in China for wood‑burning camp stoves, fireplace inserts, and gasification heaters. We sell tens of thousands of units every year, and the reviews keep coming — from campers, overlanders, homesteaders, and chefs who push our stoves to their limits.
But we are never satisfied. Even when customers say “it’s perfect”, we go back to the drawing board. Can the air intake be smoother? Can the stainless steel last longer? Can we reduce smoke to near zero? This endless pursuit of “better” is why Hillrein owners stay with us for years.

We designed four series to match different adventures:
- Rock Series (磐石) – The heavyweight for patios and commercial use. Burns a 1‑meter cast iron wok safely. Absolute power.
- Odyssey Series (征途) – The overlander’s companion. 9kg, compact, and truly smokeless indoors (yes, you read that right — an indoor‑safe wood stove).
- Ranger Series (游侠) – Ultra‑light at just over 1kg, built entirely with 310S stainless steel and a built‑in fan. For cyclists and backpackers who refuse to carry extra grams.
- Sprite Series (精灵) – Titanium foldable, 200g. No gasification, but pure genius for pocket‑sized fire.
